AI Image Search - Chrome Extension

AI Image Search is a Chrome extension that helps you find cheaper alternatives to products you see online by using AI-powered image search. Instead of copying product names, opening multiple tabs, or guessing the right keywords, you can search visually: when you’re browsing an online store or marketplace, hover over a product image and trigger a search to locate the same or similar items across other shops. The extension then shows a results view with the selected product image alongside visually similar matches, making it easy to compare options and jump directly to a store that offers a better price.

Getting started is simple. After installing the extension, pin it to your Chrome toolbar for quick access. While browsing, move your cursor over a product photo and click the search icon that appears in the top-left corner of the image. A panel opens with the image you selected and a list of similar products found through the AI search. Choose any result to open the corresponding product page in a new tab so you can check pricing, shipping, and availability.

The extension also includes a practical image download option. If you need the product photo for reference, sharing, or comparison, you can download the selected image using the button shown beneath it.

To keep browsing clean and unobtrusive, AI Image Search lets you control where the on-image search icon appears. Open the extension from the toolbar, click the settings gear, and add the URLs of sites where you don’t want the icon displayed. This is useful for websites where overlays interfere with your workflow or where image search isn’t relevant.
